My introduction to DSLR photography was in 2010. It was the macro lens that got me deeply interested in studying more about this art form. I completed my diploma in photography in 2013 from eminent photographer and professor, Dr. O. P. Sharma at Treveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.

I like to create images with elements of abstraction and minimalism and mundane still life objects. I also work on cyanotype art and studio portraitures at my home studio.

I let myself be driven by intuition and believe in complete freedom of expression and often use editing software to enhance my work.

Statement

My work blends the simplicity of minimalist landscapes with the surrealism of levitation still life, exploring themes of balance, weightlessness, and the subtle connections between objects and their environments, where objects are suspended in midair, defying gravity and encouraging a fresh perspective on the ordinary.

In both aspects of my work, minimalism is key. By stripping away distractions, I aim to highlight the beauty in simplicity & seek to capture the ephemeral and emotive elements through my photography. Whether it is the  juxtaposition of grounded landscapes or weightless still life; creating a dialogue about presence and absence, grounding and release, inviting viewers to reflect on the balance between stillness and movement in the natural and imagined worlds.
